Mining and mineral exploration companies regard the management of the local environment and relationships with local communities as paramount considerations during the lifetime of any project and the industry as a whole is striving to develop and integrate best practice.

NTL, as a mining explorer, is committed to the principle of responsible stewardship of the environment when carrying out any of its activities. We believe in operating within a framework that protects and sustains the environment. We do not believe that responsible, socially-aware mining practice and looking after the environment are mutually exclusive.

 However, the environment is not just the mountains, forests and waterways that make up our natural heritage.

It includes the people . . . the communities and the human relationships that are involved and intertwined with our business activities. Through employing local people, engaging in open dialogue and investing locally, we work with the communities that are involved with or impacted by our activities.
